Virtual Writing Sessions

These sessions are dedicated to teaching the writing process while reinforcing the importance of citing evidence to support inferences included in their writing products.   Children will engage in shared writing experiences which will provide opportunities for peer interactions in a relaxed controlled environment. Children will engage in discussions on chosen topics. These discussions will elicit dialogue that will help them develop a point of view or gain perspective to help with the planning stage of the writing process. Children will develop their abilities to plan, organize, and enhance their writing while including all necessary components of a well written argumentative or informative essay.
