ABOUT US

Taseda has a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education and over 20 years of experience teaching students of varied ages ranging from Birth to 12th grade in sectors that include Public and Charter schools, as well as childcare facilities. Taseda has had the opportunity to serve as Reading Specialist (K-5, 8-12), Math Facilitator and Interventionist (K-5), STEM Coach (K-5), and Childcare Director. She has created Professional Development sessions for teachers centered around  the implementation of Reading and Math strategies to maximize student achievement.

Taseda's Literacy Lounge serves  a variety of purposes. Children will benefit from watching this channel for the enjoyment of hearing some of their favorite stories read aloud.  Children will have the ability to follow along with a copy of their own book or  with the words shown on the screen. Children will develop reading prosody, while acknowledging punctuation, and text features during the readings.  Some books will teach spelling patterns and some will expose children to new vocabulary words allowing them to increase comprehension skills. 

Eclectic Education Consultants was founded in 2013 based on the premise of a necessity for a variety of approaches in the art of teaching and learning. This consulting firm bases its consulting practices in the theory of ECLECTICISM. This approach allows for more diverse opportunities to develop creative innovators and career ready students.
